Photogrammetry is the practice of determining the geometric properties of objects from photographic images. This technique is very useful in architecture for taking measures, generating 3D models, drawing plans, elevations and making orthophotos.
A more sophisticated technique, called stereophotogrammetry, involves estimating the three-dimensional coordinates of points on an object. This allows us to scan complex geometry and objets.
